Early Bird Registration Is Now Open!

Gain recognition of your California public sector Human Resources expertise, and demonstrate professional excellence in managing the complex legal requirements and challenges unique to the Golden State.

As the world’s fifth largest economy and with over 39 million residents, California is arguably the most complex state for public sector human resources and labor relations professionals, as the Golden State presents unique challenges and legal requirements that differ significantly from federal laws and those of other states.  Given the complexity and extensive knowledge required for California professionals, this certification program is specifically designed to be “uniquely California”, as the curriculum focuses on California-specific laws with practical pointers related to the areas of talent acquisition, leaves, discrimination and harassment, labor relations, and other employment issues, and the CalGovHR designation will demonstrate your mastery of California HR expertise.
