Training Location

Where Is The Conference Held?

For the first-time in CalGovHR’s history, we will be hosting the annual Conference & Expo™ in fabulous Las Vegas. We chose this location because it’s one of the world’s most famous and iconic cities, offering a host of possibilities including convenient access via Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) and car travel, proximity to Southern California, world-class amenities, fine dining, shopping, entertainment and fun. All of these factors contribute to an excellent learning atmosphere where you will be making lifelong professional connections while taking in all the amazing opportunities Las Vegas has to offer.

On the Strip, you can take a spin on the world’s largest observation wheel, the High Roller, ride on a Venetian gondola or watch the iconic Fountains of Bellagio. Away from the Strip, Las Vegas has an collection of acclaimed museums covering atomic testing, neon signs and the mob--topics deeply connected to the city. Outside of the city, the Mojave Desert is filled with hiking and biking trails, scenic drives and expansive desert vistas. Learn more about all the attractions the city has to offer here

The Venue

CalGovHR is pleased to partner with the South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa for our 2026 Annual Conference & Expo™. For the first time in our history, we are taking the conference on the road.  As the largest locals' hotel in Las Vegas, the hotel stands at 25 stories and includes 2,163 rooms. In addition, the resort hosts an equestrian center (South Point Arena), a movie theatre (Century Theatres), a  64-lane bowling center, the Grandview Lounge, six restaurants and a buffet, and a 400-seat showroom with weekly entertainers. The resort has over 150,000 sq ft of convention space, allowing for ample space for training, networking and comfort. The group rate includes guest room wifi, fitness center access, self-parking and valet services, airport shuttle services, and 24/7 business center access.

As a courtesy to our attendees, South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa will extend a discounted room rate at $94 per night (plus applicable taxes).

To reserve your hotel room, please click here, or call South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa at (866) 791-7626 and ask for the CalGovHR Labor Relations Institute group rate.
