$5,000 in Immediate Mini-Grant Opportunities for Public Agencies Affected by the California Fires

To support our HR colleagues in assisting their agencies and employees with fire relief efforts, CalGovHR is humbled to announce up to $5,000 of immediate funds on a first-come, first-served basis. The initial amount will be $250 per public agency, renewable for up to $500. Funds are disbursed to the agency’s HR Director, and may be used by the HR team to assist with their support efforts to employees throughout the organization, including, but not limited to, additional EAP on-site services, supplies, food and hospitality for first responders and/or EOC team members, and business continuity and operations. Funds are made immediately available to local agencies, and may be transmitted by check, wire, Paypal, or Western Union. No application is needed.

CalGovHR recognizes that federal and state emergency funds may not be immediately available, and it is our hope that this small gesture will further support our HR colleagues as they continue their support effort at the local level. To request funds, please contact CalGovHR's President, Gene Boucher, by phone at (415) 336-2941 or via email to info@CalGovHR.org.
